No laws with the Claws and that includes taking these little cans of heaven to the next level! White Claws are so good it’s time someone created some White Claw recipes, and that someone is me!
What started out as the best shot idea ever has turned into making a couple fun cocktails, dare we call them WhiteTails or CockClaws, with the hottest drink of 2019 and beyond. You can use any hard seltzer you would like to make these drinks and in fact I did an entire hard seltzer taste test and found the best one, hint, it isn’t White Claw! There is actually one that stands out from the best with most natural flavor and less sugars – see here for it!
Hard seltzer truly goes good with anything and you can almost use it like a flavored alcoholic soda water. You truly can spend a ton of time playing around with all of different fun combinations of flavors and infusing new liquors or even adding beer to hard seltzer!
The recipes below are extremely simple and they are so versatile as you can make them however you would like depending on your taste. Since this creation we have also created a new White Claw Froze slushie drink that is just as good or better as the drinks below!
White Claws have gone out of control and I have been on board from the start. They taste great, are much less filling than beer and not as sneaky as hard liquor. It is almost a great hybrid of beer and liquor, which is something I have wanted forever.
What is great about these drinks is that they are just a guide for you, you can play around with flavors, juices and liquors you like to make a CockClaw perfect for your tastes. What’s better is I will use the dreaded Lime White Claw for all of the drinks, finding a way to make the lime flavor good!
What Is the Best Shot You can Make With Hard Seltzer?
If you make one of these make sure it is the Shot Claw as it is the perfect shot for the roaring 20s. I love drop shots, everyone does, and this shot is the perfect way to start the party.
It is really simple and just an evolution of an old shot called The Bottlecap. It tastes just like the old Bottlecap candy but now adding white claw, it is the best party starter! and see Here for the Hard Seltzer Froze Recipe!

What is the best hard seltzer for these recipes?
If you want to limit calories and sugars as much as possible then there are two you should use. I did a full hard seltzer taste test and two definitely stood out from the rest!
Truly and Bud Light both have the least amount of sugar and calories so if you want to make a skinny hard seltzer cocktail then those are the ones to you. Truly also has the most natural flavor in my opinion.
If you want the strongest than Natty Light hard seltzer has the most alcohol content. Sure to the purists White Claw will always be the best but I highly suggest going with Truly’s for the best all around hard seltzer.
To be honest though if you are on a budget then out of Bud Light, Truly and White Claw, just grab whatever one is cheapest. They all are pretty similar to each other taste wise and you won’t really notice much anyways when it is mixed into a cocktail recipe… with that said, still use Truly!
