Everyone loves the holidays… unless you’re one of those people… however for us happy people the holidays are a time to play dress-up, cuddle, party, drink eggnog or hot alcoholic drinks and of course get fat. It can be overwhelming to host people or come up with some new drink ideas… thus here is this site to “inspire” you to try some new stuff!

What is great about all of these recipes is that they are so versatile and I encourage you to experiment with some of your own flavors, liquors and such to make it your own! Use these recipes as a guide to craft some tasty cocktails and impress your guests or a nice little date night! These recipes all are made extremely simple for you and most ingredients you should have already or can be easily purchased at your nearby grocery store.
Before you start reading this article does not have you making your own eggnog. Some of you may be pissed but hopefully most of you just want to drink and the last thing you want to do is make your own eggnog. I am all about making things from scratch but sometimes just give me the K.I.S.S. method with some alcohol and let’s gooooo!

6 Spiked Eggnog Cocktail Recipes
Ingredients
Bourbon Holiday Cocktail
- 1 oz Bourbon or Whiskey or Rye
- 1.5 oz Amaretto
- Eggnog
- Dash nutmeg
- Garnish cinnamon, cinnamon sticks & maraschino cherries
Campfire Cocktail
- 2 oz vanilla vodka Regular vodka works to
- Eggnog or can use coconut milk
- Almond milk or dairy milk
- Garnish crushed graham crackers, chocolate sauce & marshmallows
Eggnog Mudslide Recipe
- 1 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz vodka
- 1 oz irish cream Bailey's is always good
- Eggnog
- Garnish chocolate shavings Simple tip: you can grate a chocolate bar... and even garnish it with the bar for a fun look
Spiked Espresso Eggnog Recipe
- 1 oz vodka Optional: vanilla vodka
- 1 oz Kahlua
- 1 oz irish cream
- Espresso
- Eggnog
- Garnish Whipped cream or marshmallows & chocolate shavings
- Optional Hot chocolate
- Optional Can be served cold as a martini
Spiked Peppermint Eggnog Cocktail Recipe
- 1 oz Peppermint Schnapps
- 1 oz dark rum is ideal Optional: Make it a martini with vodka
- Eggnog
- Garnish candy canes
- Optional I will add a little almond milk sometimes if too sweet
Spiked Pumpkin Spice Eggnog Cocktail Recipe
- 2 oz dark rum is ideal or Vodka to make it a martini
- Eggnog
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- Garnish whipped cream, pumpkin spice & star anise
- Optional I will add a little almond milk sometimes if too sweet
Instructions
Bourbon Holiday Cocktail
- 1. Real easy, mix all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Shake, serve and garnish.
Campfire Cocktail
- 1. Crumble graham crackers on plate, rim glasses with chocolate syrup then dip the glass in the graham crackers.
- 2. Shake all other ingredients in a shaker with ice, pour over ice, garnish and serve!
Eggnog Mudslide Recipe
- 1. Pretty simple, mix all ingredients into shaker with ice. Drizzle chocolate syrup in your cup. Add in ice, pour in your drink and garnish. You can always just stir together if you don't have a shaker but if you put syrup around the glass then you'd want to stir the ingredients together in a separate cup.
Spiked Espresso Eggnog Recipe
- 1. Fill 1/3 of mug with espresso/coffee/hot chocolate. Fill 1/3 of mug with hot eggnog.
- 2. Add in liquor, stir and top with garnish.
Spiked Peppermint Eggnog Cocktail Recipe
- 1. Crush candy cane on a plate, wet rim of glass and coat rim in candy cane.
- 2. Add all ingredients into shaker with ice and shake.
- 3. Pour over ice then garnish with candy cane.
Spiked Pumpkin Spice Eggnog Cocktail Recipe
- 1. Mix all ingredients with ice into shaker and shake.
- 2. Pour over ice & garnish.
Egg Nog is definitely the go to addition to holiday drinks! I think the campfire would be my favorite as I love the addition of the graham cracker rim! I need to try out all of these recipes!
