This takes apple cider vinegar recipes to new amazing heights! We all know the standard apple cider vinegar recipes out there and I wanted something even more nutritious since it is already moderately awful tasting. Since it already tastes bad surely you can’t make it taste worse and I thought I would experiment for months until I found the perfect combo for the most nutritious detox juice of all time! With all the added benefits and superfoods in this recipe I feel like one day I could be able to fly or go back in time and I won’t write it off as a possibility. I also love it as it boosts my energy and I have cut back on the coffee I drink significantly.

After much research and testing with all recipes and ideas I came up with the superestest of superfood drinks adding a few ingredients to a standard ACV recipe that not only super charge the drink nutritionally but also help the taste!

If you just want the standard Apple cider vinegar drink recipe and benefits then here is the tastiest possible one.

As you probably know ACV supposedly helps everything including weight loss, healthier skin, blood sugar, heart health, nutrition boost, body detox, immune system, digestion, energy, freshens breath, protects against cancer and more! While there isn’t a plethora of scientific data supporting ACV there are testimonials abound of its benefits so why not give it a whirl.

My other additions below just take this to the next level and here are the benefits.

Spirulina

Ounce per ounce this is arguably the healthiest food on the planet. It’s apparently a super-duper food… pretty sure you can walk on water with the correct serving. It is a micro-algae that can be a protein supplement and contains amino acids, B vitamins, beta-carotene, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese, vitamin E, high in antioxidants, minerals, chlorophyll and phycocyanobilin.

Here is a really good value spirulina option and it lasts forever!

Carrot Juice

Full of antioxidants and vitamins; it’s immunity boosting, cholesterol lowering, beta-carotene packing, vision boosting, cancer reducing, brain strengthening, skin helping and more!

Turmeric

It’s a natural anti-inflammatory; full of antioxidants; and said to aid digestion, against heart disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Lemon Juice

Tips

Start slowly as I would just take this 1-2x a day due to not wanting to overdue turmeric and ACV intake.

With all juicing drinks I like to make a batch and store it in a jar for the week so it’s ready for me to pour from my fridge. As we know, the hardest thing with diets is sticking to them so making it for a week will make sure you don’t have an excuse to not stick to it.

What’s also great is you can easily transform these into smoothies if you wish.

Warning

Be careful to only add 1 tbsp or at most 2 per cup of water due to the strong acidity of the vinegar. The acid can wear down tooth enamel and drinking it straight up can burn you the whole way down or potentially induce acid reflux if you have this issue and you take it before bed.

Drinking it through a straw isn’t a bad idea if you are drinking it often and want to protect your teeth. The best time to take it is when you wake up to get the day going as long as it doesn’t burn your empty stomach too bad, then around noon and again late afternoon or before dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup carrot juice
  • 1 - 2 tbsp raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 - 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 1/8 - 1/4 tsp spirulina
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp shredded ginger

Optional

  • drink with a straw and save your teeth!

Instructions

  • Pretty simple here unless you want to juice your own carrots.
  • Mix all in a glass and stir.
  • As mentioned I like to make this x 6-10+ and store in a jar in the fridge for the week.
