This whiskey eggnog recipe is a perfect blend of the sweetness you want for the holidays but of course that sharp bite of eggnog. Yes, whiskey and bourbon are “different” but thankfully you can use either/or in this recipe… heck if you are Canadian you can even use rye in this recipe, what a crazy world!

Ingredients
- 1 oz bourbon or whiskey or rye
- 1.5 oz amaretto
- Fill eggnog
- Dash nutmeg optional
- Garnish cinnamon, cinnamon sticks & maraschino cherries
Instructions
- 1. Pretty simple. Mix all ingredients with ice in a shaker. Shake, serve over ice and garnish.
- 2. You can always stir if you don't have a shaker.

My new favourite! I don’t normally drink Bourbon or Whiskey, but I must say that this is delicious! I have always liked spiced rum and eggnog but the bourbon doesn’t seem to taste as sweet, I will definitely be drinking this during the holiday season!
