The mermaid detox lemonade is one of the best things you can drink! I also love it as it boosts my energy so much and I have cut back on the coffee I drink significantly.

As with all juicing drinks I like to make a batch and store it in a jar for the week so I don’t have to make it daily and it is just ready for me to pour from my fridge. The hardest thing with diets is sticking to them as we know so making it for a week will make sure you don’t have an excuse to take your morning medicine.

Spirulina

It is apparently the superest of all foods. It is a micro-algae that can be a protein supplement and contains amino acids, B vitamins, beta-carotene, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese, vitamin E, high in antioxidants, minerals, chlorophyll and phycocyanobilin.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Helps everything including weight loss, healthier skin, blood sugar, heart health, nutrition boost, body detox, immune system, digestion, energy, freshens breath, protects against cancer and more!

Lemon Juice

Supports weight loss , promotes hydration, good source of vitamin C, improves skin quality, aids digestion, freshens breath as well as detoxes.

Raw Honey

Is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients, it’s immune boosting as well as cancer fighting among other great benefits!

Ginger

Boosts immunity, fights infection, soothes  the stomach, counters acid reflux and is an anti inflammatory.

Warning

Be careful to only add 1 tbsp or at most 2 per cup of water due to the strong acidity of the vinegar. It is extremely acidic, can wear down tooth enamel and drinking it straight up can burn you the whole way down or potentially induce acid reflux if you have this issue and you take it before bed.

Drinking it through a straw isn’t a bad idea if you are drinking it often and want to protect your teeth. The best time to take it is when you wake up to get the day going as long as it doesn’t burn your empty stomach too bad, around noon and then again late afternoon or before dinner.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar use 2 tbsp if wanted
  • 1 tbsp raw honey use 2 tbsp if wanted
  • 1/8 tsp raw honey. use up to 1/4 tsp

Optional

  • 1/2 tsp shredded ginger

Instructions

  • Pretty simple here.
  • Mix all in a glass and stir.
  • As mentioned I like to make this x 6-10+ and store in a jar in the fridge for the week.
