Quick Carrot Apple Ginger Turmeric Juicing Recipe & Benefits

A detox carrot juice recipe is just what you need to get your body back to 100%! We all know juicing is great but it costs $15, normally doesn’t taste that great and you have no idea how easy it is to do yourself for 1/10th the price.

The great news is this recipe is great tasting, so good for you, takes minutes to make and is extremely cheap. You can of course juice the carrots yourself but if on a time crunch like the most of us just buy the juice.

You can purchase 100% carrot and apple juice for less than $2 for a jug at your local Trader Joes. Some places like Sprouts even have a pre-mixed carrot, ginger and turmeric drink so you are already halfway there!

Juicing can be intimidating but thankfully you have me to do the leg work for you. It is so simple to create a tasty, healthy, super-food, hydrating, nutrient packed daily juice that has numerous health benefits, which I listed below for for you. Here is an amazing Mermaid Apple Cider Vinegar Superfood Drink As well.

Here is a breakdown of the benefits of each ingredient

Carrot Juice

Full of antioxidants and vitamins; it’s immunity boosting, cholesterol lowering, beta-beta-carotene packing, vision boosting, cancer reducing, brain strengthening, skin helping and more!

Turmeric

It’s a natural anti-inflammatory; full of antioxidants; and said to aid digestion, against heart disease, alzheimer’s and cancer.

Apple Juice & Apple Cider Vinegar

Helps everything including weight loss, healthier skin, blood sugar, heart health, nutrition boost, body detox, immune system, digestion, energy, freshens breath, protects against cancer and more!

Lemon Juice

Supports weight loss , promotes hydration, good source of vitamin c, improves skin quality, aids digestion, freshens breath as well as detoxes.

Ginger

Boosts immunity, fights infection, soothes the stomach, counters acid reflux and is an anti inflammatory.

While there isn’t a plethora of scientific data supporting ACV there are testimonials abound of its benefits so why not give it a whirl. What is also great is you can easily transform these into smoothies if you wish.

As with all juicing drinks I like to make a batch and store it in a jar for the week so I don’t have to make it daily and it is just ready for me to pour from my fridge. The hardest thing with diets is sticking to them as we know so making it for a week will make sure you don’t have an excuse to take your morning medicine.

To be completely honest I hate trying to do a juice cleanse as I need more food than just juice! However, I incorporate this into my daily regimen giving me all of the amazing benefits to help my dieting plans.

There is also the placebo effect where drinking this just helps me get mentally inspired to continue my healthy day with a workout, healthier food and overall a healthy mindset. Apple Cider Vinegar Warning

Be careful to only add 1 tbsp or at most 2 per cup of water due to the strong acidity of the vinegar. It is extremely acidic, can wear down tooth enamel and drinking it straight up can burn you the whole way down or potentially induce acid reflux if you have this issue and you take it before bed.

Drinking it through a straw isn’t a bad idea if you are drinking it often and want to protect your teeth. The best time to take it is when you wake up to get the day going as long as it doesn’t burn your empty stomach too bad, around noon and then again late afternoon or before dinner.
