Ingredients
4cupsfresh mixed berriesfrozen works but not as ideal). Ideal fruit is 1 cup raspberries, 1 cup blackberries, 1 cup blueberries and 1 cup cut strawberries.
2tbspcup orange juicesub lemon juice
2tbspchia seeds
1tspbrown sugarwhite can be used or I use syrup
1tspcinnamon
Optional
1-2tspsyrup in place of sugar
Instructions
Put 3/4 of your berries and orange juice into put and bring to a low simmer.
Once compote simmering add remaining fruit, chia seeds, brown sugar and cinnamon heating for 1 minute just so the new fruit gets warm and then remove from heat.
Serve knowing you just grew up and took your French Toast, Crepes or pancakes to the next level.
