This easy white tea shot is a fan favorite as it just sounds healthy… so already that’s a win when drinking… and no, there are no health benefits unfortunately…

This shot actually is similar ingredients of a very old shot that was one of my favorites, the bottle cap shot for anyone who remembers that incredible drop shot combo!

I love the white tea shot more than green tea shot because often I am drinking vodka so this shot keeps me drinking the same liquor family vs. adding in Jameson to the day!

If you want to take shots but not start mixing alcohol then this obviously this is the best choice.

Can You Make the White Tea Shot Healthier or Less Sugary?

Definitely, to make a healthy white tea shot if the shot is a little too sweet or sugary for you there is a simple option to do it. Easy enough just swap out the lemon-lime soda with sparkling or mineral water.

You can even go a step further and use fresh lime or lemon juice vs. sour mix. It won’t have near the same good sugar taste but also drops some calories and such.

What is the difference between a White Tea Shot & Green Tea Shot?

The only difference between the white tea shot & the green tea shot is that the green tea shot uses Jameson whiskey as the main liquor where the white tea shot uses vodka.

If you want to make a green tea shot then of course we have the green tea recipe here for you.

Do You Need Tea to make a white tea shot?

No there is not tea in a white tea shot. It is just a shot based off the green tea shot, which was named that way due to its resemblance of looking like tea.

What Does The White Tea Shot Taste Like

These ingredients make it taste exactly like an old favorite shot of mine, the bottlecap! If you remember those bottlecap candies it tastes just like that, a little tart, a little sweet and overall incredible.

For a cocktail fill a rocks glass with ice, use 2 oz of vodka, 1 oz of schnapps, 1 oz of sour miz and then top off with lemon-lime soda or your favorite sparkling water.
